Recipes

Rump roast (3-4 lbs.)
Small red potatoes (8-10)
Baby carrots (1 lb.)
Salsa (large bottle) - mild or hot, your choice

Place roast in crock pot, fatty side up. Surround with potatoes and carrots. Pour salsa over top. Cook on low 8-10 hours. This is much better when cooked slowly; the beef will "fall apart."

This is a family favorite. It really is this easy! The meat will fall apart, and the carrots will absorb the salsa flavor nicely.

OK ladies, only a few more days until we slip away from our every day lives and into the wonderful world of sewing (and lip-flapping)! Remember to bring recipes for all those wonderful dishes ~~ I have included my recipe for "Salsa Beef" that I am bringing again this year on this blog.
